Primary care is that care provided by physicians specifically trained for and skilled in comprehensive first contact and continuing care for persons with any undiagnosed sign, symptom, or health concern (the "undifferentiated" patient) not limited by problem origin (biological, behavioral, or social), organ system, or diagnosis.
A primary care practice serves as the patient's first point of entry into the health care system and as the continuing focal point for all needed health care services. Primary care practices provide patients with ready access to their own personal physician or to an established back-up physician when the primary physician is not available.
Primary care includes health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of health care settings. Primary care is performed and managed by a personal physician often collaborating with other health professionals, and utilizing consultation or referral as appropriate. Primary care provides patient advocacy in the health care system to accomplish cost-effective care by coordination of health care services. Primary care promotes effective communication with patients and encourages the role of the patient as a partner in health care.

Diabetes case reports are in-depth inquiries of an individual, crowd, occasion or public. The data are assembled from a diversity of places by various methods. The case study technique encompasses spotting what happens to, or reconstructing ‘the case history’ of a single participant or group of individuals, i.e., the idiographic approach. Case studies permit an investigator to investigate a topic in far more detailed and minute way. The case study is not itself a research method, but investigators choose methods of data collection and analysis that will generate material suitable for case studies. Most of this evidence is likely to be qualitative but the psychologist might collect numerical data as well and present in various diabetes conference and scientific sessions.

Psychology is the science concerned with behavior, in both human and nonhuman animals. Despite its youth, it is a broad discipline, essentially spanning subject matter from biology to sociology. A psychologist is a professional who evaluates and studies behavior and mental processes. Psychologists have doctoral degrees. They study the intersection of two critical relationships: one between brain function and behavior, and another between the environment and behavior. As scientists, psychologists follow scientific methods, using careful observation, experimentation and analysis. But psychologists also need to be creative in the way they apply scientific findings.

What is a Case Report ?
In medical or clinical study, a case report signifies the detailed report of symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of an individual patient. Case reports may contain a demographic profile of the patient, but usually describe an unusual or novel occurrence. Case reports have been playing a pivotal role in medical education, providing a structure for case-based learning and implementation. A case report describes unique aspects of a medical or surgical case and provides clear clinical and educational significance in medicine given its rapid contributions to scientific literature and clinical practice. Despite the emphasis on randomized clinical trials, evidenced-based medicine, systemic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports continue to provide a novel and exceptional knowledge in medical education.

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds the world's largest natural harbour and sprawls about 70 km (43.5 mi) on its periphery towards the Blue Mountains to the west, Hawkesbury to the north and Macarthur to the south. Sydney is made up of 658 suburbs, 40 local government areas and 15 contiguous regions. Sydney is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a diverse population featuring a rich history, internationally-recognised tourist attractions and an exciting calendar of events. The City of Sydney is the local government authority responsible for the city centre and more than 30 suburbs within our boundaries.
Sydney is the largest city with a population of around 4 million. It has an enviable reputation as one of the world’s most beautiful and lies amid a seductive intermingling of land and sea. Sydney is a major global city and one of the most important cities for finance in the Asia-Pacific. Sydney is built around a huge harbour and hosts many tourist attractions as well as a number of beaches, bays and a couple of national parks. Brimming with history, nature, culture, art, fashion, cuisine, design, set next to miles of ocean coastline and sandy surf beaches. Australia has a land mass roughly the same size as Western Europe or the USA (excluding Alaska). About 80% of the population live in cities resulting in large regions which have small, scattered settlements or are unpopulated.
Australia has one of the most affordable, accessible and comprehensive healthcare systems in the world. The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing promotes good health and ensure all Australians have access to key health and family services including:
- aged and community care services
- family and children's services
- disability programmes
- public health initiatives
- medicare and pharmaceutical benefits
- hospital and healthcare funding
- health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
- emergency services for people in crisis.
The Commonwealth has developed a broad policy of leadership and financing in health matters and focuses on the areas of public health, research and national information management while the states and territories are largely responsible for the delivery of public sector health services and the regulation of health workers in the public and private sectors.
Funding the system:
Funding of the health system in Australia is a combination of government funding and private health insurance. Government funding is through the Medicare scheme, which subsidizes out-of-hospital medical treatment and funds free universal access to hospital treatment. Medicare is funded by a 2% tax levy on taxpayers with incomes above a threshold amount, with an extra 1% levy on high-income earners without private health insurance, and the balance being provided by the government from general revenue.. Healthcare is only 9% of Australia's GDP.
